Mathieu assists French and international companies in the day-to-day management of their human resources and labour relations. He has extensive experience in the implementation of new organisations following restructuring or mergers and acquisitions, along with particular expertise in collective bargaining and working time issues.

He advises and assists numerous companies in the implementation of new work organisations. Mathieu has developed a partnership with the SYNTEC Federation in order to foster dialogue on labour relations in respect of the organisation and planning of working time within the sector. He also acts in the strategic development and implementation of sensitive employment projects, such as the modification of a sectorial collective agreement.

Mathieu began his career as an in-house legal counsel in international groups (transport and paper sector) before joining the firm Barthélemy et Associés. He later joined the firm Chassany Watrelot & Associés where he spent 16 years, including 10 years as a partner, before creating MAJJ Avocats.

He is referenced in the rankings of the latest edition of Best Lawyers (in the Litigation category).
