Julien assists French SMEs and mid-tier firms and large international groups in the management of all the employment law issues that may arise in the course of their structuring operations: mergers and acquisitions (employment law due diligence, consultation of the Social and economic committee…) or restructuring (staff transfers, redundancy plans).

He has developed solid partnerships with corporate law firms and investment funds to assist them in their M&A transactions, and furthermore has extensive experience in collective negotiations (working time, employee representation, etc.).

Before creating MAJJ Avocats in 2021, Julien had been practising since 2003 at the firm Chassany Watrelot & Associés, and had been a partner there since 2009.

He is a contributor to the guide “The Labour and Employment Disputes Review” (The Law Reviews) and to the Country Comparative Guides published by The Legal 500.

In its 2020 edition, The Legal 500 EMEA highlights the excellence of his practice, in particular in mergers and acquisitions. Julien has again been recommended in the 2021 and 2022 editions of The Legal 500 EMEA, as well as in the rankings of the latest edition of Best Lawyers (in the Labour and Employment law category).
